Here you re going to learn several ways to save money every month by lowering your monthly bills

Has debt got you down?

If so, you’re not alone. These days getting into debt is easy. Getting out is not. Buying lottery tickets and hoping to “win the big one” is not the answer.

No matter how much money you owe, and no matter how tight money gets, remember that life is too short to spend time worrying.

Therefore, the real "secret" to getting completely out of debt is actually very simple:

Make the commitment, then take action!

If all you do is sit back and talk about getting out of debt, and just complain about how hard it is being stuck in debt - and never actually do anything about it - an amazing thing will happen... NOTHING!

You won’t get out of debt overnight – after all, you didn’t get into debt overnight, either.

But you can change the way you think. Our mind is very powerful. And when life seems to be out of control, the simplest thing you can control is how you think!

There’s an old saying:

“The definition of insanity is doing the same things over and over again, but expecting different results!”

That’s especially true when it comes to getting out of debt!

You need to start with small steps. Take out a notebook and write down your goals. Write down the small steps you will take to reach your goals.

• Cut out unnecessary expenses

• Think of inexpensive ways to have fun

• Consider selling valuable items you don’t need

• Get a part-time job

• Start an online business

Think hard, write down everything you think of, then decide which steps to take first. And most importantly, go ahead and do them.

Nobody every got rich by sitting on the couch and thinking!

Without making the commitment to getting out of debt, you never will.

On the other hand, you CAN live the life you've always wanted. And if you make the commitment - and don't let ANYONE or ANYTHING get in your way - you, too, can live a life without debt!

How to back up your phone data online

For the storage of appointments and contacts, many people today rely on cell phones. However, the dependence on one single device can be unsafe and tricky in case your phone gets lost or stolen.

In order to prevent the disaster of losing vital contact details, you should try to regularly back up your phone data. Most phones today come with the appropriate software allowing you to easily manage and back up these data. For example, in case you are using a SonyEricsson phone, the best PC software for your unit is Float’s Mobile Agent. However, the biggest disadvantage of using PC utilities for backing up your phone data is the fact that you need to regularly connect your cell phone to PC in order to obtain the updated version of your data.

Most conventional back up methods copy your phone data onto any kind of media, like an external hard disc, DVD, or a USB memory stick. As much as these methods may seem quick and cheap, they are not reliable enough. Very often, laptops and peripherals get stolen from people’s houses and offices.

Alternatively, you can try online phone backup services, which save your most critical phone data on a highly secure, off-site server on the Internet. This way, you can have your phone stolen, lost or destroyed, but at least your vital data such as contact list, calendar, pictures, videos or text messages will definitely survive. Additionally, even if your membership expires, many services will still keep your data online for a certain period of time in case you change your mind.

The procedure is rather simple. You first register with the username, which is usually your phone number, upon which you will be sent a randomly generated password via sms text message and email address. Next, you can log on to the servers 24/7 through the management system and start the back up process. You can also and edit your information, listen to the ring tones you have backed up, watch the videos etc. You are recommended to check the data you have synchronized periodically just to make sure that your backup is complete.

If you still don’t have backups of your critical phone data, sign up for an account with any of the online mobile phone backup services, back up your data and keep it regularly synchronized to save yourself from a potential disaster of getting your unit lost or stolen.

Customer service and the global survey

Go into any mall in any location around the world and conduct a survey. Here are a few questions you can ask.

1) On a scale of 1-10 with 1 being the least important and 10 being the most important, how important is customer service when choosing a product?

2) Answer the following question. On a scale of 1-10 with 1 being “I strongly agree” and 10 being “I strongly disagree”. When you have a problem with a purchased product it is reasonable to assume you must endure the financial loss associated with the product purchase.

3) Consider the following statement. On a scale of 1-10 with 1 being “I strongly agree” and 10 being “I strongly disagree”. I do not believe that businesses should be accountable for issues related to my purchase. I subscribe to the philosophy of buyers beware.

I could include other questions, but I think you get the general idea of what the survey results might indicate. Each answer is typically going to be answered in the vicinity of ten. Consumers want some assurance that the products and services they pay for are going to work and if they don’t work the customer wants to be equally assured that the business owner will make things right. But will they make it right?

Since customer service is highly valued virtually anywhere in the world why are there so many businesses that seem to treat customer service as an afterthought?

In defense of business owners let me say that for many businesses it is not that they are disinterested in customer service they simply have not factored that into their time budget. These business owners have so many duties in relation to marketing and management that handling customer service issues simply intrudes on the act of conducting business.

Now in defense of the average consumer let me say that most businesses have learned to make customer service a priority, so even if you have a solid business plan and are working through complicated issues related to your business when you have a failure to deliver on implied promises related to the quality and usability of a product you may find one time customers abandoning your business in favor of another. These individuals will never have anything remotely positive to pass along about your company.

Is it fair?

Maybe not, but it is fact.

Do you have a return policy? Do you have a replacement policy? Do you have a price guarantee policy? How much effort is too much in working to ensure a satisfied customer?

Some businesses will not only refund money or replace the product, but they may also supply a generous discount on the customer’s next purchase if there are justifiable issues related to the consumer purchase.

With the Internet, less than satisfied customers may make you aware of problems quickly. For many online business owners 24 hours may be too long to respond to a customer’s grievance. When it comes to customer service your quick response can spell the difference between success and failure in your business.

Never lose hope in dealing with your fears and depression

When your fears and depression have the best of you, it is easy to feel that things will not get any better. This is not true. There is much help available in today’s society and the best way to deal with your fears is to find effective ways to overcome them. As a result, here are some techniques a person can use to help manage their fears and anxieties.

You never know when the answers your looking for will come to your doorstep. Even if the thing that you feared does happen, there are circumstances and factors that you can’t predict which can be used to your advantage. These factors can change everything. Remember: we may be ninety-nine percent correct in predicting the future, but all it takes is for that one percent to make a world of difference.

Challenge your negative thinking with positive statements and realistic thinking. When encountering thoughts that make your fearful or depressed, challenge those thoughts by asking yourself questions that will maintain objectivity and common sense. For example, your afraid that if you do not get that job promotion then you will be stuck at your job forever. This depresses you, however your thinking in this situation is unrealistic. The fact of the matter is that there all are kinds of jobs available and just because you don’t get this job promotion doesn’t mean that you will never get one. In addition, people change jobs all the time, and you always have that option of going elsewhere if you are unhappy at your present location.

Some people get depressed and have a difficult time getting out of bed in the mornings. When this happens, a person should take a deep breath and try to find something to do to get their mind off of the problem. A person could take a walk, listen to some music, read the newspaper or do an activity that will give them a fresh perspective on things. Doing something will get your mind off of the problem and give you confidence to do other things.

Seek help from God. You might of heard this before, however have you tried asking God for help? Praying and talking to God about your problem can be effective. Although the answers might not come to you right away, you can’t go wrong on relying on God. You never know how God will work in ones life. All you can do is to do your best each day, hope for the best, and take it in stride by using the help of God. God will help us through our problems if we ask him.

As a Layman and author of an anxiety book, I have done many interviews with various counselors in how to manage fear, anxiety and depression. The techniques that I have just covered are some basic ways to manage your depression, however your best bet is to get some help from a professional and not to lose hope. Eventually, you will find the answers you are looking for.

The surprising home improvement that will save you a bundle

If you are considering making home improvements to address your energy use and utility bill, you may be in for a surprise. The biggest energy change is not what most people think.

The Surprising Home Improvement That Will Save You a Bundle

There are a couple reasons for improving the energy efficiency in your home. You may realize we are impacting our environment and want to do your part to stop this. On the other hand, you may be tired of paying ever increasing utility bills. Regardless, you are ready to do something, but need to take a quick break before jumping in.

Most people automatically think the biggest cost associated with energy use in their home is heating it in winter and cooling it in summer. This would certainly seem to make sense from a logical perspective. In the case of energy, however, logical fails the test.

The biggest use of energy in your home is heating your water. This may be surprising at first, but think it through. How many times a day is the shower or bath cranked on? How many times a week is the dishwasher cranked on? Do you have a pool? How about a Jacuzzi? Each of these energy requirements adds up very quickly, particularly hot water for showers and dishwashers. The good news is you can make relatively painless home improvements to address these issues.

There is no denying we all need to take showers each day…at least I hope! To improve your shower energy use, there are a couple of basic steps you can take. First, get a low flow shower head. They cost a few bucks, but restrict the volume of water coming out. The less hot water used, the less your water heater has to crank up. Don’t worry, you will not notice a difference. Second, consider going with a solar water heater or a tankless system. Solar works best because there are no energy requirements from your utility, but a tankless water heater has advantages as well because it does not waste energy by firing up over and over during the day when you are not home. Regardless, just make the change.

As to dishwashers, there are two solutions. Again, solar water heaters overcome the problem by heating the water without tapping your utility lines. If you aren’t ready for that, get an energy efficient dishwasher. You are looking for a product that has an Energy Star rating. The rating signifies the dishwasher is designed to minimize energy use with a savings of at least 25 percent compared to traditional machines.

Going green is not nearly as painful as most people think. Making small changes, such as how you heat your water, can make a major difference to both the environment and your utility bill.

In defense of impotent men everywhere

"Wanted: Clear-thinking male. Attractive, successful 35-year-old woman seeks man for good times, days out, nights in, companionship. Must be intelligent and impotent."

On October 7, 1999 a book (and later, movie) by Gaby Hauptmann entitled "Suche impotenten Mann fьrs Leben" (In Search of an Impotent Man) came out with an interesting premise: maybe the perfect man is an impotent man. At least that's what the protagonist of the novel, Carmen, believes. The sexy, successful thirtysomething real estate maven is tired of being ogled, pawed, and cheated on by the men in her life. By removing the sexual aspect of the relationship, it could leave room for a caring, monogamous relationship. So with the help of her friends Elvira and Laura, Carmen embarks on a crazy quest to find a sensitive, intelligent man with a good sense of humor...but he must be impotent. After posting a personal ad online, Carmen eventually meets the impotent man of her dreams: David, a handsome architect with California surfer-boy looks. But when she finally gets what she thought she wanted, Carmen realizes that she wants to express her love for David in a physical manner. Laura tells Carmen,"You wanted an impotent man, and you've got the impotent man of your dreams and now you want to turn him into a potent superman."

While I wasn't very impressed with the movie, it did make me think---in real life, how can an impotent man find a partner in the sex-crazed world we live in?

Impotence, or erectile dysfunction, is a condition characterized by the repeated inability to obtain or maintain an erection. Erections are managed by two different mechanisms, the reflex and the psychogenic erection. Reflex erections are achieved by directly touching male shaft. Psychogenic erections are achieved by erotic or emotional stimuli. Erectile dysfunction can be caused by psychological issues, stress, alcohol abuse, smoking, hormonal deficiency, or diseases like diabetes and cardiovascular disease. While there are no formal tests being done to specifically diagnose it, several tests are helpful in determining if there is an underlying medical or psychological condition causing it. When the cause is determined, the proper course of treatment will then be prescribed. Patients will have the option to take either testosterone injections, oral prescriptions, direct injections to the shaft, vacuum pumps, surgery, or in cases of psychological issues, counseling. Apart from those there are other, more unconventional treatments available, like herbal medicine, acupuncture, or experimental medicine. However, since the brain controls the libido, the placebo effect cannot be dismissed as a possible cause for the treatment's efficacy.

It is unfortunate that men view sex and the ability to obtain an erection as an integral part of their masculinity. Thus, erectile dysfunction will cause the sufferer to feel performance anxiety every time he has sex, and the anxiety will further affect his ability to maintain the erection. Its up to their partners to ensure that their sexual relationship remains mutually satisfying regardless of the condition. One key aspect to this is improving communication between the couple. A spirit of fun and openness will go a long way to ensure that the relationship remains healthy during the toughest times.

Living air purifiers cleaning your air

Living Air purifiers are manufactured, along with other brands, such as Fresh Air, by Ecoquest, a company that strive to improve the quality of the living environment of families all over the world. And while this is undoubtedly a noble quest, many experts and consumers question the ability of Living Air purifiers to meet this task adequately.

Living Air purifiers take their place at the higher end of the indoor air cleaner market, costing as much as $700 for a single room clean air purifier. And while many consumer reviews rate Living Air purifiers highly, there is no escaping the fact that these indoor air cleaners contain a substance that an increasing number of experts claim is damaging to our health – ozone.

While many consumers report improved air quality in their homes with the use of a Living Air purifier, even those who suffer with such debilitating conditions as asthma, an increasing number of experts are citing evidence that suggests that ozone can cause long-term damage to an individual’s lungs. So while a Living Air purifier might bring instant relief to allergy and asthma sufferers, there might well be a more far-reaching price to be paid with the use of these indoor air cleaners.

The more immediate effects that consumers have reported with the use of a Living Air purifier include a strong odor of ozone in the home, and persistent headaches. Some users find that these effects can be reduced by operating Living Air purifiers at a lower setting, and while this might eliminate the typical symptoms that an indoor air cleaner is introduced to combat, there remains the threat posed by ozone.

Though expensive, Living Air purifiers are generally reported as being effective in removing particles and dust from the air. But, by using ozone in their design, it is likely that these clean air purifiers are emitting something far more dangerous than the particles they eliminate.

Living Air purifiers are expensive and emit ozone. Maybe they aren’t the best indoor air cleaners.
